Here at God's House we feel a strong responsibility to those less fortunate than ourselves. 

After Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, we did our best to help those knocked down by the catastrophe.  We passed out water and supplies, to anyone who needed them, for weeks after the storms and gave prayer and support to those who felt all hope was lost.

In 2007 when an F2 Tornado passed through Westwego, La. leaving many without homes, God's House helped feed those victims and provided trailers to some of the people whose possessions were destroyed.

 

Until you have been involved in outreaches such as these, you will never know the overwhelming joy that comes when you help someone in their time of need.  Matthew 25:40 says, "Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." Join in our cause, and get involved today!
